Always the bridesmaid, never the bride no longer rings true for
Affair. Having been sometimes overshadowed by her herdmates, it was
Affair's turn to shine in 2007 and she earned her permanent champion
status. Not only did she finish her championship, but she is also a
current Breed Leader ranking #8 in Milk (tie), #7 in Butterfat and #6
in Protein (tie).
Affair is a tall doe with incredible body capacity, levelness over the back, upstandingness in
the front end, a wide, flat rump and good rear leg angulation. She is
also quite dairy with a long, lean neck, openness of ribbing and
angularity throughout. Her mammary shows a lot of smoothness of
blending with a good medial and correct teat size and placement.
Her dam, GCH Dayspring Rejoicing Julie 2*M, was
3rd place Five & Six Year-Old in 2001 and 3rd place Aged Doe at
the 2002 ADGA National Show. Her maternal sister, GCH Lakeshore Farms
Julie’s Jaguar 3*M EX92 (EEEE) is the 2007 ADGA Reserve National
Champion and Reserve Best Udder.
We have repeated the breeding to Jack that produced
one of our fanciest 2007 kids; Blissberry J Alibi.
