Sin City had been “in the works” for quite some time….ever since his beautiful dam, SGCH Kastdemur's Vivacity 6*M EX92, moved to Blissberry as a senior dry yearling in 2012! Sin City’s dam, SGCH Kastdemur's Vivacity 6*M EX92 has been an incredible doe for us. She’s always been competitive not only locally but nationally as well. Her dam, SGCH Kastdemur’s Temerity 5*M EX93, is incredibly well known in the Nubian world, being the 2008 and 2009 ADGA National Champion. Vivacity’s sire is our very own SGCH ++*B Kastdemur’s Most Wanted EX90 who has sired numerous extraordinary offspring including SGCH Blissberry Rock My World 3*M EX92, the 2012 ADGA Reserve National Champion, Reserve Best Udder and Total Performer! Most Wanted was also the 2016 ADGA National Show Premier Sire!
Sin City’s sire, GCH +*B Kastdemur’s MPR Liaison EX91 is a buck who needs little introduction to Nubian breeders. His dam, GCH Kastdemur’s Royal Romance 2*M EX90, was the 1st place Four Year-Old at the 1990 ADGA National Show. Liaison himself has sired several amazing offspring including; SGCH Kastdemur’s LS Sonoma 8*M EX90, the 1st place Two Year-Old at the 1997 ADGA National Show. Another daughter, GCH Kastdemur’s LJ Litany 1*M was the 2nd place Four-Year-Old in 1997 behind GCH Kastdemur’s Crown Extatic 3*M EX92 the 1997 ADGA National Champion and Best Udder. CH Kastdemur’s Great Expectations had multiple BIS wins to her credit. Liaison has also sired some notable sons such as SG ++*B Kastdemur’s LH Full Service EX91 who was the 1999, 2005 and 2006 ADGA National Show Premier Nubian Sire, SG +*B Kastdemur’s Exacta EX90 who sired some lovely offspring in the Redwood Hill herd and *B Kastdemur’s LE Wildcat who produced beautiful daughters in the Easy Stream herd including CH Easy Stream Tiffany, 1st place/1st Udder Three Year-Old at the 2003 ADGA National Show.
Sin City’s kids are everything we had hoped for. They have beautifully wide, flat rumps, level toplines, wonderful depth of body, and strong feet and legs. His first milking daughter in our herd, Blissberry Viva La Juicy VG87 has been undefeated when shown... including being the 1st place Milking Yearling at the 2016 Minnesota State Fair! At the 2016 ADGA National Show, Juicy was the 6th place Milking Yearling!
Unfortunately we lost Sin City in the summer of 2016 at far too young of an age. We're grateful to have him in the tank and plan to use him in the future via AI!
