We were pretty excited when After Party kidded. She freshened with a beautiful udder, typical of what we've come to expect from her maternal line as well as reminiscent of her lovely dam who was lost way too soon. It's globular in shape with a high, wide arch and a nice medial. After Party is such a fun doe and so typical of the maturity pattern of the does we breed. Our yearlings look like babies because that's what they are at that age. They mature some as 2 year-olds but they really come into their own at age 3+... and After Party is doing just that!
After Party is pretty special to us. She's a really big doe... being long, tall and excelling in dairy strength. She's a hard one to miss in the pen! After Party's first show as a milker was the 2018 ADGA National Show in Columbus, Ohio; we were so happy when she placed 3rd with 3rd Udder in the Milking Yearling class! When shown at the final show of the season, After Party was 2 x GCH and 1 x BOB as a yearling milker (wow!)! She continued her winning streak as a second freshener and easily finished her championship at her first show, in the first ring in spring 2019! Her only other show of the season was the 2019 ADGA National Show where she was the 5th place 2 Year-Old and a member of our 2nd place Dairy Herd. After Party is also a strong milker with a record of over 3000#.
We currently have an After Party son working in our herd. *B Blissberry Party Animal is the flushmate to Blissberry Party In The USA, the 2021 ADGA Reserve Junior Champion! His first kids are stunning with beautiful general appearance, flatness of bone and clean, open escutcheons. They are very consistent as a group with beautiful breed character as well. Needless to say, we're pretty excited about these kids!
