Back in her hay day, Val was quite the show doe. She was our first Most Wanted daughter to freshen giving us a glimpse of the wonderful things he would do for our herd. As a milking yearling, Val earned two legs towards her permanent championship and as a second freshener she quickly finished her championship at her first show in the first ring! At the 2011 ADGA National Show she was the 9th place Two-Year-Old. An injury sidelined her causing her to be prematurely retired from the show ring but Val happily enjoys her days chewing her cud and sleeping under her favorite oak tree.
Throughout the years, Val has proven herself as a valuable brood doe time and time again by consistently producing daughters better than she is herself. The most exciting cross being to *B Blissberry Rock Hard EX92. This breeding has been incredibly consistent for us. One daughter, SGCH Blissberry RH Vallerina 7*M EX92, was BEST IN SHOW at the 2015 Minnesota State Fair over 319 milkers, placed 7th in 2014 & 2016 at the ADGA National Show and another, SGCH Blissberry RH Vallelujah 7*M EX93 was the 3rd place Two-Year-Old at the 2016 ADGA National Show and the 4th place Three Year-Old in 2017. She was also GCH, BOB and BUOB at the 2017 Minnesota State Fair! In 2018 she achieved a goal we've always dreamed of... Vallelujah scored 4-04 EX93 EEEE! We are thrilled to also have a son from this proven cross working in our herd as well! It’s been an easy decision to continue breeding Val to Rock Hard each fall! In fact, we have done embryo transfer work on her the past couple years and have been very successful with that... we will happily take all the daughters she chooses to bless us with!
